Food! [The thread that started this section]

Just made some Oatmeal - Chocolate chips cookies, they are quite good.:D

I made vanilla ice cream from scratch. Quite happy!!:D Great for hot days that we have been getting in Melbourne. Last time I made ice cream, it ended up badly. I read the instructions wrong and the the whole thing ended up as a block of watery milk

A 'treat' my Russian colleague brought back from Moscow for us at the weekend. It's basically dried brown bread, and it's 'British' flavour, hence Big Ben and a bloke with a pipe.

Dunno what any of the text says though.

It says:

"Baked breads "Emelya" with Ham and Cheese flavour, the taste of England".

All in all these are probably the cheapest snack that goes with the beer, like 30p a pack.

I love those. They sell multiple varieties at the Russian store here. Buy 'em all the time.

I've also gotten into eating lemons whole (after cutting off the 2 ends, and soaking it in tea for a few mugs). Kinda like most people eat apples... just bite out chunks (suck out the juice). A friend walked into my room the other day and looked at me like I was crazy/retarded.
Started when I accidentally forgot to cut a slice for my tea, and just dropped the whole thing in

I ate an entire lemon once, for fun, and my teeth hurt for a day.

Can anyone recommend any good risotto with chicken? Preferably a guide with pictures cause i am a mediocre cook at best.

Risotto is a dish on it's own! <_<

Anyway, silly question:

Can I claim that eggs are a non-vegetarian item since it comes from an animal?

Given that an egg is an animal (just unborn) then yes. The question is why? Unless you want to watch a vegetarian eat a load and then tell them? Thats always a fun game
