The "New Toys" Thread

Love Cooler Master cases. My current rig has a Centurion 5 and it has been fantastic with a lot of heavy hardware inside spewing out a bucket load of heat.

I'm getting a new rig next week tho and that one has an Antec 900, hopefully it will perform as well as the CM did.

I can kill trees once more, now with added wifi support so all my laptops can connect with it directly.

^Nice. I have the same one.

^ Good point btw, I'd move that small amp a little further away from the tv, if that's what's causing it.

Nah - if its anything like my Panasonic its just a build flaw with the rear projection design. Unplug it from mains power for a day or so and that'll fix it. It'll probably keep happening, but once disconnected from powah it shall magically be fine.

Woot! Just got my 32GB SD card today for my Cowon D2.

48GB of flash awesomeness!

I think I made a good deal, managed to haggle a bit and got myself an Abit IP35 Pro & Scythe Mine rev. B for just 60 euros. I've been tinkerin' with it today and managed to get my E4300 up to a pleasant 3GHz (9x333MHz) with minimal adjustments. I even managed to boot it to bios with 9x380MHz but I guess my "as cheap as it gets" Kingston memory can't cope with that kind of speed.

MORR TOYS!

MORR TOYS!

That heat sink looks nice, Raparperi. I need to get something that efficient for my next build.

Philips Active Noise Canceling Headphones, SHN2500 OEM

Great sounding for approx. $13, however there is no real "Noise Canceling" and that's not much fun having that brick of plastic amp dangling without a clip. Should I really be complaining for $13? No.

Can I call those things toys?

Is it supposed to have that purple splotch in the bottom left hand corner? It's not too bad though, definitely playable :)

I didn't even notice that until I posted the photo up here. I haven't seen that little splotch since. :dunno:

I was gonna rip all my DVDs until I realized how quickly I'd eat up my 5TB. Now we got Blu-Rays to throw into the mix too.

^i have no idea what you just said. I fear I am not nerdy enough for this thread...

It's a command line.... command that starts making a file without a set max size.
