It almost did. Was at 4%, and those last few points go fast.

Anyways, I'm not going to lie: when I saw the Premium PKP Specialist assignment involved 25 claymore kills, I thought it would take me forever to get them.

Then this round happened.

23 claymore kills in one go. I kept laying them in the exact same spots and people kept tripping over them. ErSoviet even bothered to get on the chat and tell me to change my routine, I told him no...and that exact moment he was killed by one of my claymores.

I've been trying to get that for quite a while now. Only managed 10 so far. :(
 
I did the F2000 frist, more or less accidentally, will probably go for the PKP one now. But I'm somewhat scared of the L96 one.. that might take a few.. years.. :mrgreen:
 
Alright WTF

Getting a new bug: my weapon won't fire or reload unless I switch weapons. seems to happen randomly. Makes the game unplayable (unless maybe I get really quick at switching weapons and getting one shot kills...)

Anyone else getting this?

maybe for people who like sitting in a dark corner half a mile away from the action waiting for someone to run in their field of view :p
 
for those people it will take 10 years, pick a rifle, 4x, any medium large map in the world or metro. Silly people in metro try to sniper with glint scopes, easy to spot and counter snipe with a 4x, i've gone 75/10 with the M40A5 and 4x on metro
 
Or if you want to take the risk, go hardcore and a silencer. Bodyshot everything. It's a one hit kill and you can't be seen on the minimap.

I got the 350m+ headshot from The Tower in Oman, popped a sucker running on the beach at 420m with the first shot I took at him. :cool: It's kind of hard (imo) to find that much range and have more than a tiny gap to see guys... unless you just go on top of the tallest building in the game that is...

B ridge in Kharg to C or D is 350m easy, that much range is easy tbh, lead the shot right and you can hit a guy running at 650m in the head
 
Another good L96 tactic is to strap on a red dot sight (and a silencer if it suits) as well as a straight pull bolt and use it in TDM or perhaps CQ. There are plenty of closer range body and headshots you can make. I like using a combo like that on Canals.
 
I got my 50 L96 kills on Canals TDM with iron sights. Had a kdr of like 1/3 during that time :D. I just do not see myself getting 25 headshots with that (I have 6 now) though.

IMHO sniping (specially with bolt action rifles) is the most boring thing to do. I would rather not play the game.
 
I already hated the old L96-achievement (I think 50 kills and 25 headshots), now raising that and adding a 350m headshot is for me pure punishment.. :D
