Best of eBay and Craigslist

An honest and funny listing.

Paul selling the car said:
This Reliant Kitten comes in luxurious brown, I bought it in 2002 whilst still taxed and tested, it then became a self propelled wheelbarrow around the yard, and across the field before coming an exciting toy and off road runabout for the kids, who now a few years on would not be seen dead in it or even close in a balacava. About 4 years ago it was driven into the shed, covered and left in peace the occasional mouse had a winter holiday in it, fortunately there was enough debris so that the upholstery has only the odd bit of padding showing. The carpets need replacing and the radio dos'nt work. The ariel looks fine. The engine is as intact as it was when I got it and its not seized up. It did start well in cold weather if you laplanders are interested. There is no battery on it now, was used for the electric fence a year or two ago. The plan was to keep it until it became the most wanted classic on the market, something to rival an e type, and to swell the pension fund, alas son wants the room. I think to renovate it, you would have to be on the verge of fanatical, I am sure it could be done. I saw it as a labour of love my wife said I was giving my brain a birthday. There's loads of room in the back, spare wheel ok. locking wheel nut on front wheel and comes complete with a spare back door I never wore the original out as can be seen in the picture. Runs on petrol, do not think its worth converting to LPG. The front grill is detachable normally rides in the boot. It has not been started for 2-3 yrs. Exellent cobwebs in glove compartment, body paintwork requires touching up here and there and rewaxing. I think it must be genuine milage but no guarantee. I have a V5/2 and will keep looking for the V5 ( no promises.) I would hate to think you want it only for spares but that may well be its only destiny. SWAG - (sold without a guarantee)

It's good to see people have a sense of humour on eBay.

Never seen a RHD one.

Theres something about that stock BMW gear lever wrapped in that leather boot that is wrong.

That should be a hoot to drive!!! I've driven a 50hp/600kg car and it was adequate...70hp will obviously be better.

Bad news is - blown head gasket...I should presume maintaining these cars is incredibly difficult these days.
