So what'd you do while the forums were down?

I swore I?d never set a foot into that god-forsaken forum again.

Caught up on all the movies and tv shows that had piled up in my torrent client. Now what?
 
I worked, slept, F5'd, played the original Bioshock, found out about SOMA, bought stuff on eBay and painted Land Rover parts.

It was pretty horrible though.
 
Initially, just boring diagnostic stuff, like checked my ISP & broadband was working.
Then checked that I could use other Vb Forums like PPrunes OK.
Then found that I hadn't bookmarked IRC, so I couldn't find out what was happening. :rolleyes:
(Armedcats wasn't working either.)

So checked FB & TW instead, knew it was a problem, at least six hours old by then.

Thanks to all the team who got the site running again, it must have been a PITA, since it took so long.

.. and everything data-wise is back to where it should be, I think. With no wierd errors popping up.

Well done, recovery team. :thumbsup:

Went on a roadtrip to the border with Uruguay to buy booze and food.
 
Ran throughout the city's streets screaming in horror.
 
Kept searching for the next car.
 
Drowned my sorrows with beer and double rewards in GTA online.

Same. But, my phone use went like this:

Open Reddit

Switch to Facebook

Open TapaTalk, saw endless loading

Switches phone to standby

Repeat.

I did that probably 5 or 6 times yesterday.

I think I may have a problem.
 
I actually got work done at work.
 
Watched slides from my dad's 1962 US roadtrip with him. Hope he'll get them scanned soon.
